We have been slowly incorporating plants into the garden.
So far we have Mango trees, chilly plants, mulberry tree and herbs.
We are still waiting on taking down the other fruit trees that we have.
Because of the wind that we get in Leeman we thought that it would be best to keep these plants at another location until we are fully set up to have them at the garden to give them a better chance of surviving.
We currently have ready to plant, banana trees, a fig tree, nectarine tree, mandarin tree, and mulberry trees. Joe from Tass1Trees in Perth has also committed to donating an assortment of more fruit trees. Thanks Joe you are the best :)

More garden beds!

16/3/2018

Comments

We must say that we have been so lucky with all of the support that we have been receiving. Not only from the council but from the community.

We have now been able to build more garden beds.

We are hoping to be able to have at least 10 garden beds completed by April. And with the support that we have been having we know that we can make this goal.

We are so happy with the progress that we have made so far.
With the support of the Shire of Coorow, Leeman Plumbing and Excavation, Bank West as well as other community members that do not want to be named, we now have a working bore and reticulation for our garden.
